Khalid‘s first mixtape, Scenic Drive, is here, and it’s an R&B music fan’s dream! The nine-track project is truly the perfect soundtrack for the hopeless romantics, whether you’re in a relationship, you’re single, or it’s complicated. And I get why it’s called Scenic Drive — the mixtape is probably better listened to during a late-night drive or subway ride, if you’re like me. It’s smooth and calming and dreamy.

I love hearing Khalid, but the features on Scenic Drive are what complete the mixtape. Alicia Keys is on the intro, 6lack and Lucky Daye are on “Retrograde,” Kiana Ledé lends her voice to “Voicemail,” Ari Lennox brings it home on “Scenic Drive,” and more!
