These are the super sexy, strappy dresses loved by Bella Hadid, Dua Lipa, Jourdan Dunn and Sophie Turner

There’s no doubt about it, Nensi Dojaka is the go-to party label for the chicest models, celebrities and stylists this season.

After what felt like a lifetime spent in various stages of national lockdown and subsequent social isolation over the last eighteen months, it’s no wonder that – having emerged tentatively into our ‘new normal’ – the upcoming party season has ignited a sartorial appetite in many of us that we’ve not had for quite some time.

Much more than mere ‘excitement’ to be leaving our own four walls of an evening, there’s a fun sense of frivolity on the style horizon that sees a renewed sense of fashion joy brought to the forefront, with super sexy ‘OUT out’ dressing landing itself a spot in almost every seasonal trend report for autumn/winter 2021. And no one is catering to that demand quite like Nensi Dojaka right now.

The London Fashion Week designer showcased her debut solo show on the capital’s runway just two months ago after honing her brand almost entirely through a global pandemic.

Having launched her label officially in 2017 while she was still completing her Bachelor of Arts at the London College of Fashion, she’d only just shown at Fashion Week under the Fashion East umbrella – a non-profit talent incubator discovering and showcasing emerging fashion designers – in February 2020, one month before the UK’s first lockdown.

Despite this, Nensi’s label was catapulted into the limelight that August when Bella Hadid wore a look from the AW20 collection to the VMA awards.

Quickly securing her status as the new ‘It’ label, Nensi earned herself several more high profile fans over the following months, with everyone from Emily Ratajkowski and Sophie Turner to Dua Lipa and Jourdan Dunn falling for her super sexy, strappy aesthetic.

Emma Corrin was so determined to wear one of the epic pieces at the end of 2020 that she and stylist Harry Lambert posted a series of ‘would’ve been’ red carpet looks, when – if it weren’t for another national lockdown – she should have been on the promo tour trail for season four of The Crown. The first look, of course, being one of Nensi Dojaka’s most-loved black strappy mini dresses.

Since then, the London College of Fashion and Central Saint Martins graduate has won one of the most prestigious awards in the industry amongst an impressive field of global contenders – the LVMH Prize.

She was also named this week as the no.1 breakout brand of the year by global fashion search platform, Lyst, who’d previously cited Nensi’s black asymmetric mini dress among the ten hottest women’s products of Q1 before revealing that this piece alone garnered over 7,000 searches every month in 2021.
