What is The Woman In The House about?
According to Deadline, the show centres around Anna, played by Kristen, a heartbroken woman who spends everyday at home watching life pass her by.
But things start to look up when dishy neighbour Tom Riley moves to the street with his young daughter – that is, before Anna witnesses a gory murder. Eek. Whodunnit?
Who stars in The Woman In The House?
Kristen Bell will be joined by Michael Ealy of Secrets And Lies and Think Like A Man fame, who is set to play Douglas, Anna’s ex-husband.
According to Deadline, Douglas is “bookish and pragmatic… he still has love for Anna but their past keeps them from imagining a future together.” Cryptic.
Tom Riley is set to appear as Anna’s hot neighbour – but something tells us that’s not all. The synopsis reads: “Riley will play Bell’s new neighbor, a charming and handsome single dad. But is this undeniably sexy widower too good to be true?”

The show wrapped filming in July 2021, and all we know so far is that it’s set for release in 2022. The mini-series will feature eight episodes.
Is there anything else we know?
Kristen has revealed that she did plenty of research for her part in the show – reading dark, twisty, domestic thrillers such as Avery Bishop’s Girl Gone Mad and Karin Slaughter’s The Silent Wife. Is that a hint at what we can expect from the show?
