I waited for what felt like forever for Sex Education season three to drop, after binge watching the entirety of Sex Education season two in just one day. So rest assured, when the latest instalment landed on Netflix on Friday, I spent my entire weekend glued to my TV catching up on the lives of Otis, Maeve, Amy and crew.
It hasn’t disappointed (Adam and Eric <3), in its storytelling or its styling. The styling. So. Obsessed. With every single one of the Moordale High School clan’s outfits. But there was one garment in particular that caught my eye: Ruby’s yellow bra in episode one. Y’know – that lacey, supportive-looking number she wears to meet up with Otis in the abandoned toilet block. I wanted in.
And a quick post-binge scroll down my Twitter feed showed I wasn’t alone. Literally everyone is also going wild for Ruby’s yellow lace bra – desperate to know where they can get their hands on one just like it. Need proof?
I revel in a shopping challenge – hence the job – so off I went to try and track down the exact wireless bra that makes her boobs look so damn good.
There’s plenty of speculation that the bra is the Eva bra from Tutti Rouge, but sadly, that’s now sold out (though you can still buy a number of their other styles in a plethora of mood-boosting hues from ASOS).
Luckily? I’ve managed to find a number of alternative yellow lace bras from high street heroes and high-end lingerie designers alike (Maison Lejaby’s £81 stretch tulle embroidered bra is the most similar I could find) so you can level-up your lingerie drawer Ruby style.
