The pic stars Efira, coming off the back of her star turn in Paul Verhoeven’s Cannes Competition selection Benedetta, in the story of a woman who lives a double life: two lovers, two sons in France and one daughter in Switzerland. When her secrets start to unravel, both of her lives begin to shatter.
This is director Barraud’s third feature film after Les Gouffres and Portrait Of The Artist.
Charades is handling sales. The Venice premiere is on September 1.
