IKEA, let us count the ways we love thee. Affordable furniture, the big blue bags that carry literally everything, the meatballs or vegan plant balls (yes, they’re new, and yes, they’re fantastic), and now, a new tote bag that is taking the nation – and TikTok, naturally – by storm. And we can see why, because tbh it’s pure genius and whoever designed it deserves a Nobel prize.
The DRÖMSÄCK tote bag can be carried as on the shoulder or worn as a backpack and is made using recycled polyester. The product description reads: “A bag and backpack in one. Perfect for those who like a classic style with all the right details. Here, you always have keys, mobile phone and travelcard handy – and room for both a lunch box and computer.”
Like many of IKEA’s smaller products, the tote bag is currently unavailable online, which is why droves of shoppers have been flocking to their local IKEA to snap up the insanely chic and practical shopper.
TikToker @nicolekaaye shared some of the features of the in-demand tote, including:

- SPACIOUS!
@libertyhsiung shared her trip to IKEA to get her hands on the tote bag ‘everyone’s talking about’, saying how she ‘loves the colour’ and that the bag has ‘so many compartments’ and ‘turns into a backpack too’. While @prakritarahman described it as ‘the best bag for university’, showing viewers how it fits literally everything inside, including a laptop, iPad and water bottle tucked neatly into separate compartments.
Reviews online have also been praising the DRÖMSÄCK, with comments like: “A lovely bag. Can be used for many different things. I love using it as a rucksack, comfortable & easy to wear.”
