Lucasarts’ classic Zombies Ate My Neighbors (which is getting a re-release later this month) was announced to be getting a physical version last month by Limited Run Games. What we didn’t know was that they were also going to be doing reproduction carts for the SNES and Genesis for the original version!
Announced during their E3 event, Limited Run Games unveiled their physical versions of both ZamN and its sequel, Ghoul Patrol. The games will be available to pre-order this Friday from Limited Run’s website.
And as you might expect, the games have various editions. First off, you have the repro carts for the SNES and Genesis, which come in either lime green (for the Genesis) and blood red (for the SNES). Ghoul Patrol (which was only released for the SNES) also gets a blood red cart.
From there, you have the Premium Edition for Zombies Ate My Neighbors, which include:
- A physical cartridge
- Manual with 3D gallery
- Zeke’s 3D glasses
- Original soundtrack
- Enamel pin
- Commemorative metal coin
- Reversible 18″ x 24″ poster
- Art cards

Oh yeah, about that upcoming re-release for PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo Switch? They’re getting Collector’s Editions, too!
