Amy Duggar to Anna Duggar: Be Strong. Be Loud. Leave Josh… NOW!

Amy Duggar has sent a pointed, clear and urgent message to Anna Duggar.

Indirectly, mind you.

But one doesn’t need a powerful microscope to read between the lines of what Amy just wrote on social media.

The only question now is… will Anna listen?

Over the past few weeks, multiple members of this infamous family have spoken out about Josh Duggar’s arrest on child pornography charges.

The father of six, who is expecting his seventh child these days, was taken into federal custody on April 28 for allegedly downloading hundreds of photos of minors being sexually abused and assaulted.

In the days since, Josh’s siblings and parents have all talked in broad fashion about how the truth will hopefully come out and how they’re keeping Josh’s immediate loved ones in their prayers.

Amy, however?

Jim Bob’s niece, who isn’t especially close to her cousins and who does not live by the Duggars’ strict rules, came out swinging a lot harder.

“My heart goes out to all those innocent, sweet victims,” the 34-year-old said last week. “It breaks my heart…I really hope justice is served.”

“I will just say that whatever you do in the darkness comes out in the light.

“If you’re going to look at such disgusting and sickening images, justice has to be served.”

Continued Amy:

“To look at my little guy who is 19 months old… my heart and my brain cannot comprehend that. It blows my mind.

“It’s heartbreaking and disgusting and evil. It’s so evil. I want nothing to do with it.”

Heartbreaking and disgusting and evil. Sums up what Josh reportedly did very well, doesn’t it?

A day after giving the above quote on The Today Show, Amy Tweeted:

“I wish I could protect every precious child from all the evil monsters out there.”

Another clear reference to Josh here.

Amy is saying he’s a monster.

But here’s the thing, of course: Anna didn’t leave her husband after he confessed to molesting little girls as a 14-year old back in 2015.

She didn’t leave him after he also confessed to cheating on her with women he met online.

And she’s shown no signs of leaving him amid this latest, truly nauseating scandal.

According to at least one source, Anna believes Josh is innocent and is proudly standing by him — although others believe she basically has no choice due to financial and/or religious pressure from her in-laws.

Whatever is going through Anna Duggar’s head at the moment, Amy is now trying to break through.

“Ladies, please don’t go through life trying to be as small, silent, accommodating and convenient as possible,” she has stated.

“Speak your mind even if your voice shakes. Don’t subscribe to extreme forms of modesty, own your beauty, intelligence and energy.

“Be fierce and unapologetic, always.”

As you can see, Amy doesn’t cite Anna by name.

It’s rather evident just what she’s talking about here and to whom she’s directing this crucial message.

She wasn’t done, either.

Amy proceeded to share a quote that, once again, very much appears to address any woman who thinks her opinion and/or her feelings don’t matter.

Let no one dull you down, do not let anyone take away your voice, your opinions or your dreams. That’s what makes you, YOU. We are not made to be all the same, it reads.

We are not robots!

Do not abide by man made rules, and do not think for a second you are not worthy of love.

You deserve a fulfilling life filled with adventure, curiosity and freedom.

Well said, right?

Will these messages have any impact on Anna?

We sadly doubt it.

She’s pregnant and in charge of six other young kids and living on Jim Bob and Michelle’s property and, we’re certain, feels completely trapped by her circumstances.

But at least Amy is trying, you know?

Gotta applaud her for the effort.
