Ryan Murphy Keeps the Hope Alive for “American Horror Story: Sirens” With One Final Social Media Poll

It started with a list of six themes which was cut down to four and then two. And now Ryan Murphy’s “American Horror Story” poll is in its final stage with, well, a recount!

Once again, we still don’t entirely understand the purpose of these polls, but it seems Murphy and the “AHS” team are gauging interest in potential upcoming seasons of the FX series.

As Murphy keeps teasing, “the American Horror Story universe is expanding.”

The final two themes had been “American Horror Story: Bloody Mary” and “American Horror Story: Plague,” but it looks like “Plague” lost that poll that launched over the weekend and has now been replaced with “American Horror Story: Sirens,” which had previously been knocked out of the running. The reason, Murphy says, is that the fans demanded it.

Head over to Twitter and Instagram to make sure your vote is counted!

The franchise will premiere not only its tenth season – “American Horror Story: Double Feature” – this year but also a spinoff anthology series, titled “American Horror Stories.”

It’s possible these polls have something to do with the anthology series, and it’s also possible they’re in some way connected to the tenth season. Your guess is as good as ours…
