Last Chance U: Basketball Is Coming: Watch the Trailer

Last Chance U is back for round six. The Netflix show produced in partnership with GQ Studios returns this month. The Emmy-winning series takes you deep into the world of junior college sports, where young players overcome the personal demons and athletic hurdles in their pursuit of scholarships, wins, and a shot at the big leagues. This time, the show is leaving football behind to ride with the East Los Angeles College basketball team as they chase their first California state championship.

The East LA Huskies are a team you can’t help but love – every guy on the court is hungry for more, whether it’s the injury-riddled forward trying to get back to peak performance or a shooting guard looking to heal after the passing of his mom. At the heart of the team is John Mosley, a father of three who scrubs the home court himself. He’s a Hollywood character walking around in the real world, a Christian coach with a heart of gold who suffers no fools and values hard work. He’s narrowly missed championships before, and he thinks this might be the team to finally go all the way.

Director Greg Whiteley (the guy behind previous seasons of Last Chance U and Cheer) directs this season along with Adam Leibowitz and Daniel George McDonald, which also features an original track from Grammy nominee D Smoke. Check out the trailer below:
