Margaret Qualley uploaded a message in support of FKA Twigs to her Instagram account on Saturday. Sharing the March cover of Elle Magazine, in which Twigs (born Tahliah Debrett Barnett) discussed her allegedly abusive relationship with Shia LaBeouf, Qualley went the brief-and-to-the-point route, simply writing “thank you.” LaBeouf has denied all allegations, though has parted ways with his agency CAA. The singer-actress has filed a lawsuit, accusing LaBeouf of “sexual battery, assault and infliction of emotional distress.”
Qualley and LaBeouf had been spotted together this past December, but reportedly split up in January, not long after the lawsuit claims were first made.
The Instagram post became something of a magnet for other comments, with Riley Keough, Maggie Rogers, Cat Powers, and Phoebe Tonkin supporting Qualley’s message of support. Andie MacDowell, Qualley’s mother, wrote “precious girls,” then added a heart emoji, and the word “beloved.”
Margaret Qualley’s Instagram is frequently a destination, especially if you wish to see the young actress flying through the air, making disco poses in public rest rooms, or threading an interactive short film/love affair with Miranda July.
