Dolly Parton Joins Barry Gibb on New Version of Bee Gees’ “Words”: Listen

On January 8, Bee Gees’ Barry Gibb will release GREENFIELDS: The Gibb Brothers Songbook, Vol. 1—an album featuring new versions of songs from the Gibb family’s catalog. Ahead of the record’s release, he’s shared a new version of 1968’s “Words,” now featuring Dolly Parton. Take a listen to the duet below.

The 12-track GREENFIELDS includes collaborations with Olivia Newton-John, Sheryl Crow, Miranda Lambert, Brandi Carlile, and more. Gibb has previously shared new versions of “Words of a Fool” (featuring Jason Isbell) and “Butterfly” (featuring Gillian Welch and David Rawlings).
