The Mandalorian season 2 gets an epic old-fashioned fan poster in honor of Ahsoka Tano’s live-action debut. For weeks now, The Mandalorian season 2 has been unfolding over on Disney+, and each episode has supplied fans with new surprises and characters. The season picked up with Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) searching for someone who can help him find a proper home for the mysterious and powerful Baby Yoda, and his journey has so far stretched across several planets. Star Wars fans have been particularly thrilled by the appearances of some well-known characters, like Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff).

The most recent episode of The Mandalorian season 2 featured the debut fans were most looking forward to: Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson). Up until now, the fan favorite character has only been depicted in animated form on Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. However, news broke earlier this year that Dawson had joined The Mandalorian in a guest role, and it was heavily speculated that she would be playing Ahsoka. Disney and Lucasfilm revealed nothing about Ahsoka’s Mandalorian appearance ahead of time, but as of episode 5, she has arrived.
To commemorate the occasion, artist Butcher Billy has designed an old-school Mandalorian poster showcasing Ahsoka. With her two lightsabers in hand, much like how she appeared in the episode itself, this poster celebrates Ahsoka’s epic Mandalorian arrival in colorful fashion. The tagline only heightens the thrill of Ahsoka appearing on the show: “A Mando and a Jedi? They’ll never see it coming.” Check it out down below.
Ahsoka’s arrival brought some major new details about Baby Yoda to light, namely that his name is Grogu. Din’s hope was that Ahsoka would train Grogu in the ways of the Force, but the former Jedi turned him down. Whether or not she’ll appear again on The Mandalorian remains to be seen, but it seems likely that she will. After all, there was a great deal of anticipation surrounding her arrival, and her position within the Star Wars universe means there’s much more that can be explored within her character. While fans might have to wait a while to see her again, The Mandalorian season 2, episode 5 probably wasn’t the last they’ve seen of Ahsoka.
Ahsoka’s live-action debut was something many had waited a long time to see, and save for some confusion about the length of her head tails, it appears to have gone over well with Star Wars fans. In fact, The Mandalorian‘s most recent episode is being regarded by many as the best yet, and it’ll be quite interesting to see where the show goes next. There are only three episodes left in The Mandalorian season 2, and it’s anyone’s guess about what will happen in them. Perhaps Ahsoka will appear again before the season comes to an end.
The Mandalorian season 2 continues on Friday on Disney+.
