Justice League‘s Knightmare version of Deathstroke (Joe Manganiello) has been revealed in the latest Snyder Cut image. Following the news that director Zack Snyder’s famed cut of Justice League will finally be released on HBO Max next year, fans have eagerly awaited every bit of new information they can get about the long-awaited movie. Snyder’s Justice League is said to be drastically different from the version released in theaters three years ago, which was ultimately overseen by Joss Whedon.
In order to complete his Justice League, Snyder has conducted reshoots with various stars from the film, including Ben Affleck and Ray Fisher. The reshoots have also seen some rather surprising additions, like Jared Leto (reprising his Joker from Suicide Squad) and Manganiello. In the latter’s case, Manganiello played Slade Wilson, aka Deathstroke, in the theatrical Justice League‘s end-credits scene. His presence among the Snyder Cut reshoots confirms he has a different role this time around, and now fans have received a new peek at it.
On social media, Manganiello shared a new shot of his Deathstroke in the Justice League Snyder Cut. This image comes from the Knightmare timeline Snyder first set up in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and this time around, he’s sporting a different hairstyle. Check it out below.
