Granted, Halloween isn’t for everyone. For some, fake blood, pumpkin carving and Halloween makeup is the stuff of ghoulish dreams (or nightmares, as the case may be), while others choose to sit out of the October 31 fun altogether.
But after the horror show of the year we’ve had, even the biggest Halloween scrooges will be jumping aboard the Halloween bandwagon this year – if only for something to DO. Things will, obviously, look a little different… Halloween parties are a thing of the past (anyone else planning their 2021 #lewk already?!) and trick or treating might not be going ahead – but there are still plenty of (legal) ways to celebrate while snapping a pic for the ‘Gram.
We’ve already rounded up a tonne of socially-distanced Halloween party ideas so that you can celebrate the holidays, and we’ve tackled Halloween nail art head-on. But if it’s a night in front of the TV watching one – or three – of the many horror films on Netflix you’re planning, there’s one simple way to pay homage to the spookiest day of the year. Without a whiff of face paint. And that’s with Halloween pyjamas.
The perfect middle-ground between a full-blown Halloween makeup look/celebrity-inspired Halloween costume and doing absolutely nothing at all, Halloween pyjamas are a subtle way of celebrating (while also maintaining maximum comfort during your scary movie marathon).
Granted, options are a tad limited for adults (are they trying to tell us something?), but if you know where to look (we do) there are some cute AF pyjama sets just screaming to be worn next weekend. ASOS, Boohoo and Not On The High Street – we thank you. Treat yourself to a pair of these Halloween pyjamas this instant – ‘cos NO ONE cancels Halloween.
