The start of October marks the beginning of Breast Cancer Awareness month. The organisation is created to heighten awareness of breast cancer, raise funds for research, prevention and treatment, and to show support for people affected by the disease.

With one woman losing her life to breast cancer every 13 minutes, and coronavirus threatening to skyrocket those figures, there’s never been a more important or necessary time to show your support for breast cancer awareness month.

So what can you do to help during October? From campaigning to volunteering and fundraising, there are endless ways for everyone to get involved. It can be as easy as shopping from the comfort of your home with brands who are donating some or all of the proceeds to breast cancer charities.

For starters, a key breast cancer awareness charity to become familiar with is Coppafeel who have launched incredible partnerships with several brands and organisations for the month of October. They have collaborated with fast fashion behemoth Pretty Little Thing on an exclusive collection, launched a T-shirt with popular jewellery brand Missoma, and created bright pink yoga mats with six different boob designs printed onto them.

Adding to that, Estee Lauder have released a limited edition pink bottle of their best-selling advanced night repair cream where 20% of proceeds will go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Bobbi Brown has also dropped a stunning matte pink lipstick duo where the full RRP will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and Jimmy Choo will giving 20% proceeds from their fuschia LIU 100 sandal will go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
