In a series of “audition tapes” for the role of Harry, Tyler Warwick recreates some of the franchise’s most memorable scenes, which include mimicking Radcliffe’s inflections and facial expressions to a degree that has us slightly suspicious he might have taken a sip of polyjuice potion before filming.
Warwick’s audition videos play on scenes from The Sorcerer’s Stone all the way through to The Deathly Hallows parts one and two, and the way he transforms himself from an 11-year-old Harry to an 18-year-old Harry is spellbinding. How does he nail every scene? The auditions range from silly moments in the films — like Harry thinking he’s high on liquid luck — to more emotional scenes — like the famous “EXPECTO! PATRONUUUUM!” Also, his take on Voldemort speaking Parseltongue is riddikulusly funny.
