In addition to being a good actress, Kelly Preston had the ability to be magnetic in the right role. She was hard to look away from and had a presence when she was on screen. Early in her career, she churned out a lot of fun but largely forgotten 80s movies including Spellbinder, Space Camp and Love At Stake. As her career went on, however, she transitioned more often into key supporting roles where she did some of her best work. Later in her life, she prioritized her family and motherhood over working non-stop, but she remained well-known and popular with the general public throughout her life.
Our thoughts go out to her family, her friends and all of those who loved her. 57 is way too young to go, but at least she made the most of her time here.
