Selena Gomez Steps Out in Boho Off-the-Shoulder Blouse and Jeans

Most celebrities have been out of the paparazzi’s lens throughout the coronavirus pandemic, Selena Gomez among them. But on Wednesday, the singer was photographed hanging with friends. Gomez was dressed up in a boho pink print off-the-shoulder blouse and light jeans. She wore her hair, now very long, down.

This is one of the first times Gomez has been photographed out this summer. She was last seen in mid-May, dressed casually in an oversized gray top, white print pants, and a mask while on a walk.

Photos of Gomez’s sighting this week come hours after the singer released her “Past Life” remix with Trevor Daniel. Before it came out, Gomez spoke with Daniel about why the song resonated with her. “When I heard the song the first time, I loved the fact that it was kind of like a story about all the things that we tend to hold onto and the patterns that we have,” she said. “And I’m very, very vocal about my personal experiences making decisions that maybe aren’t necessarily healthy for me.”

Gomez has been quarantining in California with friends and her grandparents throughout the coronavirus pandemic. In mid-May, she gave Instagram fans a little tour of her house and spoke about how she’s taking care of her mental health.

“I think right now, it is more important than ever to talk about mental health, which is a subject that is very personal to me,” she said. “So I’m asking you guys to take a break with me, and I’m going to show you some of the things that help me stay positive during this time and see if any of it resonates with you.”

During her tour, Gomez spoke about how her Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) books have been a big resource to her, along with songwriting. “Some of the things that help me is my DBT books,” Gomez said. “And every single day, I’ll look at a worksheet or if there’s something I’m working on, internally, I’ll just kind of find a chapter that relates to me. It’s okay not to do something every single day but when I’m feeling up for it and I’m feeling creative, this is my little area of creativeness. This is our makeshift studio. This is how basically I write or work on music that needs to be worked on.”
