How does a brand become cult? Just ask twin sisters, Emily and Sarah Hamilton, the brains behind Sand & Sky.

The duo say they’re devoted to sharing the wonder and efficacy of Australia’s natural ingredients with the world. After a year of vigorous research and testing (and scaring their children by trialling endless face masks…), the sisters discovered Australian pink clay and its skin-loving benefits and turned it into a multi-million pound cult beauty brand.

The brand first came to fruition with its all-natural Brilliant Skin Purifying Pink Clay Mask, which has been going viral across Reddit and on beauty forums thanks to its acne-fighting prowess since it launched a few years ago (you can read our review here). The brand has since dropped a plethora of popular skincare products, from the Dreamy Glow Drops and Australian Emu Apple Super Bounce Back Mask, to the Australian Pink Clay Smoothing Body Sand.

And now it looks like the brand has another hit on its hands with its latest launch – the £44.90 Australian Emu Apple Enzyme Power Polish, which has amassed a wait list of over 20,000 people keen to get their hands on the new launch.

So what’s all the fuss about? Featuring an advanced, antioxidant-drenched botanical formula, the latest addition to Sand & Sky’s ‘Glow’ range claims to take exfoliation to ‘new levels of efficacy’.

Powered by skin-smoothing fruit enzymes, Glow Berries and a triple-whammy of Vitamin C, the Australian Emu Apple Enzyme Powder Polish claims to be perfect for sensitive skin because it gives an irritation-free exfoliation and brightening effect.

The sisters have avoided adding any harsh and abrasive ingredients to the formula and instead, the water-activated powder-to-foam formula gently yet effectively removes dead skin cells with papaya fruit enzymes, while infusing skin with a potent cocktail of beneficial ingredients. Think glowy, smooth skin without the irration.

We all know the merits of exfoliating – it shifts old, sluggish skin cells to reveal baby fresh skin and promote glow so we are keen to see if it lives up to the hype.

We’ve just got our hands on a sample so will update you with our verdict ASAP.
