Soothe Your Soul With Florence Welch’s Mesmerizing Met Gala Livestream Performance

This year’s Met Gala was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, so instead, Vogue hosted a special livestream, A Moment With the Met, on YouTube to mark the first Monday in May. In addition to messages from Vogue‘s editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and Cardi B, the digital fashion event featured a beautiful acoustic performance from Florence Welch. Clad in a beige silk gown, the Florence + the Machine singer delivered a mesmerizing rendition of “You’ve Got the Love” straight from her home. Of course, Welch is no stranger to the Met Gala, as she’s attended several times in the past and she even gave a surprise performance at the 2012 event. Watch Welch’s soothing performance above now.
