The Avengers assembled via video chat for the Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday. During the virtual special, which donated $1 million to No Kid Hungry, onscreen superheroes Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, and Jeremy Renner shared a message as they accepted the award for favorite movie. In addition to thanking fans for all of their support over the years, they also offered words of encouragement for everyone social distancing during the coronavirus epedemic. “We’re stronger together. We’ll get through this,” Hemsworth said, before Evans added, “Whatever it takes.”
The appearance comes just a day after Evans joined Instagram and participated in the All in Challenge. In a video message, he revealed that he would be offering a virtual hang out with his Avengers: Endgame costars. “We can do a private Q&A, you can ask us anything, we’ll spill the beans, then maybe some games,” he said. “I would recommend Scattergories.” We’re glad to see that our favorite superheroes are still doing good offscreen!
