Microsoft has officially announced a Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One bundle that will be released in extremely limited quantities. The existence of this bundle has been one of the worst kept secrets in the industry, considering that the Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One bundle leaked several days ago.
Cyberpunk 2077 is an upcoming RPG by CD Projekt Red, which is the same studio behind The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most highly-anticipated games of 2020 and with good reason, as the footage of the game that has been released so far looks incredible. The people who are looking to purchase one of the new consoles that are planned to be released during the 2020 holiday season might also consider the game as a reason to go with Microsoft this time around, as Cyberpunk 2077 will be free on Xbox Series X to those who purchased it on Xbox One.

Microsoft has officially announced the Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One bundle on the Xbox website. The Cyberpunk 2077 console will be available in June and the system itself has glow in the dark markings, laser etchings, LED lights, custom panels, as well as a custom controller that is inspired by Johnny Silverhand. The console also comes with a 1TB drive and a digital download code for Cyberpunk 2077, which will give the player access to the game when it’s released in September. The controller can be purchased on its own for $74.99 starting today from select retailers. The people who are interested in owning one of these new consoles, as Microsoft only intends to produce forty-five thousand systems.

Microsoft is also releasing other Cyberpunk 2077 accessories for Xbox One. These include a charging stand for the Xbox One controller, a range of Cyberpunk 2077 Seagate hard drives for the Xbox One, and a set of wireless headphones with a design inspired by Johnny Silverhand. The charging stand and 2TB hard drive are available now, but the headphones and 5TB hard drive won’t be available until June.
If these release dates seem odd, it’s because Cyberpunk 2077 was delayed from April to September. It seems likely that this bundle was planned to be released alongside Cyberpunk 2077, but the delay of the game has led to Microsoft releasing the bundle as soon as it’s ready. It’s a shame that gamers will have to wait a couple more months to enjoy Cyberpunk 2077 on a console whose design is inspired by it, but it’s more important that the game is shipped in a form that the developers are happy with.
Cyberpunk 2077 will release on September 17, 2020, and will be available on Google Stadia, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
