Donald Trump Has Finally Been Tested For Coronavirus

President Donald Trump has been tested for the coronavirus, he confirmed during a press conference Saturday. He said the results will come in “whatever it takes, a day, or two days, whatever-whatever it is, they send it to a lab.”

“This has been urgent for me right from the beginning,” he said to NBC’s Kelly O’Donnell when she accused him of sending mixed messages by shaking hands and saying, of a proposed five million coronavirus tests, “we probably won’t need that many.”

He confessed that most of his life he’s been a non-handshaker but has fell into the handshaking habit recently when he became a politician. When O’Donnell and other reporters pressed to ask if this symbolized a change in his opinion of the pandemic, Trump, wearing a blue baseball cap reading “USA,” told her to “just relax.”

Last Saturday, Trump hosted Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro at Mar-a-Lago and was seen shaking hands. Three of Bolsonaro’s aides who were at the event have since tested positive for coronavirus.
