Riz Ahmed Announces New Album The Long Goodbye

Riz Ahmed has announced his debut LP The Long Goodbye. Produced by his former Swet Shop Boys collaborator Redinho, the album is due out March 6 via his own label Mongrel.

“It’s a breakup record about being dumped by the country you call home,” Ahmed said in a press release. “In this climate of ‘immigrants out!’ it’s about that feeling of being kicked out of a house that you built.” A short film of the same name directed by Aneil Karia serves as a companion piece to the LP. Ahmed released the single “Mogambo” in 2018.
