These are the hair loss products that saved my hair when it started falling out

At some point or another in our lives, we have all experienced hair loss. Whether it’s being too abrasive when removing extensions, over-brushing our tresses or the infinite list of internal causes such as stress, nutrient deficiency or unbalanced hormones, hair loss is pretty unavoidable. However, when the hair loss is excessive, continuous and worst of all – noticeable, this sends us into a flurry of panic and desperation for a miracle product that will restore our scalp to optimum health.

As daunting as this sounds, hair loss is normal as we naturally shed 50-100 strands a day. During the post-partum stage, this intensifies and 90% of women will experience this, but luckily it is only temporary. I forfeited my strands a while ago, but during my time as a fully-fledged naturalista, I experienced my own share of unexplainable hair loss. At times, it seemed as though no matter how much care I put into my hair, it would literally shed before my eyes and in these instances, I would enlist the help of hair growth products.

Treating hair issues takes time, patience and consistency. Miracles do not happen overnight so it is always important to leave a significant amount of time before expecting results. You must also protect your hair and scalp in the process to avoid further friction. A silk scarf or pillowcase at night is the perfect place to start.

As there are many causes of hair loss, there are also many solutions and when it comes to effectiveness, results will definitely vary. In addition to the basics, a healthy diet (like, seriously) and styling your hair with care, there are some products that can stimulate hair growth and aid in follicle repair.
