Welcome to the weekly review series where 5 women in our GLAMOUR office test out the latest products landing our Beauty Editors’ desks. This week we’re indebted to NARS for bringing the sunshine, even in the depths of winter. Its new collection of Tinted Glow Boosters (available in four shades from light to deep), offer a teensy bit in the way of coverage, but a whole lot in the way of glow. We gave it a road-test to see how it would fit into our makeup routine.

The Reviews:
Anita Bhagwandas, Contributing Beauty & Lifestyle Director, tries the shade Tangsi (medium deep)
This golden elixir makes the most beautiful illuminating serum on bare skin, but used underneath foundation it also adds a gentle healthy glow. It also doubles up as a brilliantly natural highlighter for cheekbones (and wherever else you’d want to highlight) because it’s not sparkly, but more of a soft, light-reflecting glow. As a matte girl, I’m totally won over.
Lottie Winter, Beauty Editor, tries the shade Simos (medium)
Is it a tinted moisturiser? Is it a highlighter? I’m still not quite sure. But I do know that I love it. It makes skin look a little sunnier and a little brighter with a believable healthy glow. I mixed a pump into my foundation, and then layered a little on top over cheekbones for an extra boost, but it could easily be worn alone, too.
Elle Turner, Deputy Beauty Editor, tries the shade Simos (medium)
Oh hello, sun-drenched trip to the Riviera. Confession: I haven’t really been, I’ve just popped a bit of this on under my foundation. I even (gasp) came into the office once or twice without foundation – I know! I’ve been using the medium shade, Simos, for the last couple of weeks and alongside delivering a subtle veil of bronziness to warm up pale winter complexions it also makes your skin look its softest, silkiest, healthiest self. I’m very impressed indeed.
Donna Dia, Head Of Events, tries the shade Barbusa (deep)
I usually don’t like to wear any product all over my face and prefer to use concealer only in the areas I need since I hate my face feeling caked, but this product was so light that I enjoyed wearing it all over. Most glow products make my black skin look terrible, but the tone of this is perfection, it delivers a gorgeous glow without looking ashy, glittery or sweaty. It just looks naturally healthy. As an extra bonus, I’ve had numerous compliments on my skin over the past few days (the only thing I’ve changed is adding in this product).
Chloe Laws, Social Media Editor, tries the shade Kalvoya (light)
This highlighter feels more like a BB Cream, and when I put it on my base after primer, I was struck by how nicely it glided on. The first time I wore it, my skin looked largely the same, so I tried it again with a more generous pump and it worked wonders – the girls in the office even commented on how glowy my skin looked. I’d imagine wearing just this product as my base on holiday, but day-to-day it adds some dewiness when put on under my foundation.
