When she isn’t draining my bank account with the latest Fenty Beauty launch or withholding her new album just because she feels like it, you’d think Rihanna would give me some time to breathe. But no. Instead, she keeps her foot on my neck by showing up to the airport wearing THIS.
What is this outfit. What is happening. Let’s unpack this.
First: She’s wearing a sweatshirt and sweatpants. Not an odd sight at the airport. As someone who refuses to travel in anything other than sweats, I understand this decision. The ones I wear are definitely not Vetements like Rihanna’s, but it’s pretty much the same thing, right? Right???????
Secondly: She’s travelling with an Off-White x Rimowa clear suitcase. That’s one way to zip through the TSA. Rihanna has absolutely nothing to hide!
Thirdly: The heels. They’re glittery and glorious and Bottega Veneta. They also cost $1,620, but this is Rihanna, ladies and gentleman. Shine bright like a diamond. She said what she said.
New year, same Rih. While our 2020 resolutions might be starting to fizzle out, it’s comforting to see Rihanna still doing what she does best: Stunting on people for sport.
