Taylor Swift Changed Into a Sparkly Navy Dress to Go With Joe Alwyn to a Golden Globes After Party

Taylor Swift brought out the massive dress for the Golden Globes ceremony, but she understandably chose not to drag its giant train around for the entire the night. The singer made an outfit change before the CAA Golden Globes after party that she attended with her boyfriend of three years, British actor Joe Alwyn. Swift stepped out in a knee-length sparkling navy dress. She wore her hair half up, half down and stuck on her signature red lipstick. She was photographed inside wearing the look, where the dress’s blue really stood out:

And she was photographed outside, en route to her car with Alwyn. He remained in his suit.

The Golden Globes were a major night for Swift and Alwyn. The two did not walk the red carpet together, but they chose to sit next to each other at the ceremony. The two were filmed and photographed throughout the ceremony sharing little moments with each other as if no one was watching. It was a very public date…in the most low-key way.

Swift has spoken to The Guardian this fall about why she has chosen not to be so public about her relationship with Alwyn…at least in interviews. Swift and Alwyn have been photographed out on dates by paparazzi for years, although the sightings aren’t too frequent.

Of why she doesn’t talk about Alwyn in interviews, Swift said, “I’ve learned that if I do [talk about my relationship with Alwyn], people think it’s up for discussion, and our relationship isn’t up for discussion.” Then she laughed. “If you and I were having a glass of wine right now, we’d be talking about it—but it’s just that it goes out into the world. That’s where the boundary is, and that’s where my life has become manageable. I really want to keep it feeling manageable.”
