The Reviews

Fenty Stunna Lip Paint has that elusive quality of being endlessly supple and soft to wear, while also drying down to be ultra long-lasting and impactful. The liquid formula allows for ease of application, with the shaped wand allowing a precise line, and the pigment speaks for itself. My shade was Unlocked, a hot-pink hue that provided a perfect pop of colour to my otherwise neutral makeup. And despite using an oil-based cleanser to remove it at the end of the day, I woke up to subtly pink-stained lips the following day, which I was quite happy about (although I’m not sure I would have felt the same if I had I not used such an adaptable shade suitable for all occasions..)

I wanted to love this, but I struggled to get on with it. It glides on smoothly, but it’s so liquidy that it’s tricky to apply with precision and it’s prone to smearing. The colour is beautiful, and if you have the time to sketch it on with a lip brush, and leave it to dry properly, you’d be golden, if not, it’s a no-go from me, I’m afraid.

The Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Stunna Lip Paint in ‘Undefeated’ is the chicest bottle you’ll have in your makeup bag. When applying you’ll notice it has quite a thin consistency and feels like a paint rather than a lipstick or gloss, but a very strong colour on the lip. Promising 12 hour matte wear, it’ll be sure to impress.

A brown lip stain might be a shade that only Rihanna can pull off, but it went with my dress so I gave it a good shot. For me, the consistency and staying power are great, but the applicator made it messy and bulky to apply – if you do order one of these lipsticks, make sure to use your own applicator with a finer head, as otherwise, you’ll end up having to clean up the sides for five minutes.

The hourglass brush applicator wand is small enough to get a precise shape, and the amazing thing about this liquid lipstick is the pigmentation. It’s quite a thin liquid, but it packs a punch and lasts for hours on end, which makes it a great liquid lip for parties. I wore the shade Unbutton which looked like a slightly more brown nude on me.
