The first teaser for John Krasinski‘s A Quiet Place: Part II is now playing exclusively in theaters, attached to Black Christmas, but the first image has arrived today for all to see.
Courtesy of Games Radar, this first look at next year’s sequel highlights the return of Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe, reprising their roles from last year’s film.
The Krasinski-directed sequel is said to pick up right after the events of A Quiet Place, with Evelyn Abbott and her children Regan and Marcus, along with a new baby, continuing to fight for their lives. The film will take us back to a post-apocalyptic world where the family is forced to live in silence while hiding from vicious monsters with ultra-sensitive hearing.
Last we saw the Abbot family, the monsters were invading their home and Evelyn was ready for battle. In the theater-exclusive teaser, the family walks to an unknown destination.
Cillian Murphy and Djimon Hounsou will also star.
We’ll head back to a Quiet Place on March 20, 2020.
