Most of the time when you hear the name Glenn Danzig, you think of that skull shirt that everyone thinks is cool hanging on the wall at Hot Topic or the song “Mother” but now you have to add the title of filmmaker to his resume. While he has been on tour with his first film Verotika, he was at a screening at the Philadelphia Film Society and had a few things to say of note during the Q&A.
First and foremost, Danzig confirmed that his new film is close to being completed and one of the stars with be Devon Sawa, known mostly from the Final Destination franchise. But that’s not all.
The film may have one of the coolest names in the history of film names: Death Rider. But just when you think that’s the coolest part, you hear this come out of the rocker turned filmmakers mouth:
“Everybody in the movie is a vampire. So, you won’t have to wait around to see the vampire. They’re all fucking vampires!”
There is no expected date for Death Rider, but if any of this is any indication, it’s going to be one hell of a movie!
