The 1975 Postpone European Tour to Finish New Album

The 1975 have postponed a European tour in order to complete their upcoming album Notes on a Conditional Form (which is due out February 21). Dates in Barcelona, Paris, Vienna, and more that had been scheduled for February will now take place in October. Their planned UK tour for February currently remains unaffected. A statement from their label Dirty Hit reads, “We understand that this will be a cause of upset but rest assured the delay will make for the best shows possible.” Find the band’s full itinerary at their website.

Notes on a Conditional Form is the long-teased follow-up to 2018’s A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships. So far, the band shared the songs “People,” “Frail State of Mind,” and “The 1975,” which features a monologue by climate activist Greta Thunberg.
