With Chrissy Teigen‘s near-constant presence on social media — she’s been known to refer to herself as the mayor of Twitter — and her massive following, it would be understandable to think any product of which she sings the praises is one she’s being paid to promote. But she wants you to know, her love for one brand’s masks is since, profound, and most definitely not sponsored.
“Not an ad. I’m obsessed with every GlamGlow mask ever,” Teigen says in a video she posted to her Instagram Stories. “Not an ad. I just love them.” Over the clip, she’s typed, “@glamglow I love u.”
Although Teigen says she loves all of GlamGlow’s masks, the one she’s holding in the video is the brand’s famous GravityMud Firming Treatment, which we’ve been raving about since 2015. She’s wearing it on just her T-zone and chin — the peel-off formula’s witch hazel is fantastic for congested pores — but it’s meant to be used on the entire face. According to the brand it “helps make skin feel firmer and more defined,” immediately after a 20-minute session with the help of liquorice, marshmallow leaf, and hyaluronic acid.
But, like Teigen, you’ll probably be tempted to post a selfie during those 20 minutes — there are so many selfies under the hashtag #gravitymud — because, like several of GlamGlow’s masks, GravityMud has a mesmerising metallic look that just begs to be photographed and shared with all of your followers. Not big on shimmering while you give your skin a boost? Try one of their less flashy formulas, like the SuperMud Clearing Treatment Mask.
Want to try the silvery GravityMud? You can get it from Look Fantastic for £44.
