While we wait for another American remake of a foreign film, in this case, Train to Busan there is some new information to report that will bring a smile to the face of fans of the original.
The minds behind Train to Busan are going to be bringing us a sequel to the amazing 2016 zombie epic entitled Peninsula which is likely going to be arriving next year sometime.
The distribution company said:
“We are preparing for the market release by summer 2020, but the schedule for international release has not been decided yet.”
There is no full synopsis for the film, or who will be in the film but we have this much information:
“The film will revisit the same zombie virus that was seen in the original movie, except this time the focus will be expanded to the entire Korean peninsula.”
So from the little information that we have about the sequel, it looks to be even bigger than the original.
