The Final Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Trailer Is Here

This is it, folks. The final trailer for the final movie in the Skywalker saga is here. Disney dropped the over two-minute clip for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker on Monday night, reminding fans that the end is near. However, there were no additional signs of Dark Rey (Daisy Ridley), who was teased during the Star Wars portion of D23 this summer.

The final trailer builds more on nostalgia, with C-3PO saying at one point he was taking “one last look, at my friends.” Wow bro, way to hit us right in the feels. The trailer also lingered on a shot of Rey embracing Leia (Carrie Fisher) in a tearful hug, just in case you weren’t feeling emotional enough about the situation already.

Of course, the biggest question going into Rise of Skywalker is who will bring balance to the Force. At some parts in the trailer, Rey is going head to head with Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), but there’s also a quick glimpse of them fighting together. Is it more likely that Kylo will come to the light side instead of dragging Rey to the dark with him? We’ll have to see.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker comes to theaters Friday, Dec. 20. Tickets are on sale now.
