Jon Bernthal and Ebon Moss-Bachrach can officially add Broadway actors to their resumes!

The actors, who previously worked together on the Emmy-winning FX on Hulu series The Bear, took their first Broadway bows during the debut preview performance of Dog Day Afternoon on Tuesday (March 10) at the August Wilson Theatre in New York City.

Jon and Ebon are leading the cast of the new play, which is an adaptation of the acclaimed 1975 Oscar-winning movie of the same name. After the performance, they met with fans outside at the stage door. See more photos in the gallery!

We also have photos of the guys attending a press event for the show last week at the theatre.

Also starring in the play are John Ortiz and Jessica Hecht.

Here’s the synopsis: “Step back into the sweltering summer of 1972, New York City—a time when the Vietnam War looms large, Watergate headlines flood the news, and one man’s desperate act captivates the nation. A Brooklyn bank hold up quickly goes wrong, and with each gut-wrenching twist that unfolds, chaos ensues that ignites the city as they follow the actions of a man on the edge.”

Get tickets now for Dog Day Afternoon, which will run on Broadway through July 12.
