KXLLSWXTCH Makes Space for Discomfort on Latest Project ‘EYESORE’

KXLLSWXTCH has built a career on emotional extremity, but EYESORE feels different. The Anaheim, California artist has never been interested in smoothing out the rough edges of his inner world, yet this album leans fully into the feeling of being out of place, of standing out when you would rather disappear. Rather than framing alienation as a problem to solve, EYESORE treats it as a state to inhabit.

The album was written during a period of sustained stress and anger, when emotions piled up faster than they could be processed. That pressure shapes the record’s restless motion. Songs slip between rage, exhaustion, and brittle confidence without warning, mirroring a headspace where no feeling lasts long enough to settle. KXLLSWXTCH does not search for resolution. He lets each emotion run its course.

The title reflects that intent. To KXLLSWXTCH, EYESORE is about sticking out in the worst way, about feeling like the black sheep no matter where you land. That displacement defines the album’s emotional arc, especially on “BREAK,” which emerges as its quiet center. The song captures the tension of keeping up appearances while feeling close to folding under the weight of expectation, a theme that repeats throughout the project in different sonic forms.

“Feeling different emotions is okay and that you do not always have to be happy all the time,” KXLLSWXTCH says of the project.

Musically, EYESORE also marks a shift. It is the first time KXLLSWXTCH stepped fully into production, taking direct control of the album’s sound and structure. That decision reconnects him with the reckless energy that first drew listeners to his music, now sharpened by lived experience and restraint. The beats feel intentionally raw, giving his vocal performances space to move between fury and fatigue without distraction.

The visual world surrounding EYESORE follows the same logic. The cover art and imagery are designed to unsettle rather than attract, reinforcing the idea that discomfort can be productive. It is not about provocation for its own sake, but about honesty.

In support of EYESORE, KXLLSWXTCH will take the EYESORE U.S. Tour across the country in March and April 2026, stopping in Atlanta, Houston, Austin, Dallas, Mesa (AZ), San Diego, Santa Ana, and more. Joined by Druidess and Warlord Colossus as support, the tour pulls from multiple scenes and brings them together under one roof, mirroring the album’s emotional range and refusal to exist in a single lane. More than a headline run, the shows are designed as a full-spectrum live experience that translates the chaos, pressure, and intensity of EYESORE into something physical and communal, giving fans a space to feel the album in real time.

EYESORE does not ask listeners to feel better. It simply reminds them that feeling everything is allowed.
