Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick co-direct the meta horror comedy Family Movie, in which they star alongside their real-life children, Sosie Bacon (Smile) and Travis Bacon.

Here’s the official synopsis: “A filmmaking family’s low-budget horror movie turns into a real-life slasher when a dead body shows up on set. Chaos ensues as the Smiths fight to keep the production on track. After all — the show must go on!”
Liza Koshy (Boo! A Madea Halloween), John Carroll Lynch (“American Horror Story”), Jackie Earle Haley (A Nightmare on Elm Street 2010), Andrea Savage (“Tulsa King”), Austin Amelio (” The Walking Dead”), and Scoot McNairy (Monsters) round out the cast.
Dan Beers (Premature) penned the script.
