On Saturday, Weedmaps launched its new Kickback event series with an inaugural mini-fest in Los Angeles. Besides the cannabis goodies, local food, tattoo stations, and exclusive merch vendors, DJ Mustard also stopped by unannounced to perform a surprise set.
“Los Angeles is home, and it’s where everything started for me. Weedmaps Kickback is about community and culture, so it felt right to surprise everybody with a set and show love to the city that raised me,” said DJ Mustard.
“At Weedmaps, we’ve always believed in the power of bringing people together. The Kickback series is about strengthening relationships between brands, artists, and the community, while showcasing the culture that continues to move cannabis forward,” added SVP, Markets & Culture, Jonathan JJ Jones.
