The Bestselling Books of the Week, According to All the Lists

May and June are big publishing months, and that means we have some new titles on the bestseller lists this week! In fact, there are four books in this round up appearing here for the first time, which is a nice change. The titles are new, but the authors are mostly familiar, including the latest releases from Stephen King, Nora Roberts, and Ali Hazelwood. Rounding out the new titles is Releasing 10 by Chloe Walsh, the sixth book in a new adult romance series that has popular on BookTok.

This list continues to lack of diversity on many levels, including being disproportionately by white authors. Some Indie Bestsellers you should know about are The Emperor of Gladness by Ocean Vuong, Martyr! by Kaveh Akbar, and One Day, Everyone Will Have Always Been Against This by Omar El Akkad.

To get these numbers, we look at the New York Times, both Combined Print & E-Book Fiction and Combined Print & E-Book Nonfiction lists; Amazon Charts, both Fiction and Nonfiction; Publishers Weekly; and Indie Bestsellers, Fiction and Nonfiction, both Paperback and Hardcover. New additions to the list this week are bolded.
