Not to be dramatic, but the 2025 Tony Awards, presented Sunday evening at New York’s Radio City Music Hall, really gave us something to sing about.
The ceremony where the honorees for Broadway’s best performances and productions of the year are saluted is a star-studded, sequin-spangled affair. Host Cynthia Erivo, herself a Tony winner and a costar of the two-part film adaptation of the hit musical Wicked, presided over the 78th annual presentation of New York theater’s most prestigious awards. Tonys were awarded this year to nominees across 26 competitive categories, with a handful of special awards given out as well.
Maybe Happy Ending was the big winner of the show, scooping up six awards throughout the night, including best new musical, best direction of a musical, and best lead actor in a musical, while Sunset Blvd. was the favorite musical revival of the evening.
Here’s a complete list of every winner at the 2025 Tonys.
