Justin Baldoni’s Lawyer Responds to Ryan Reynolds’ ‘SNL’ Joke That Seemingly References ‘It Ends with Us’ Lawsuits | Blake Lively, It Ends with Us, Justin Baldoni, Ryan Reynolds | Just Jared: Celebrity News and Gossip


Justin Baldoni‘s lawyer is reacting to Ryan Reynolds‘ humorous moment at SNL‘s 50th anniversary special, where he seemingly referenced the It Ends with Us drama.

During Sunday night’s airing, SNL veterans Tina Fey and Amy Poehler opened up questions to the audience and Ryan raised his hand. “Ryan Reynolds, how’s it going?” Tina said.

Ryan then said in response, “Great! Why, what have you heard?” eliciting laughter from the crowd. Fans believe this was a reference to the recent legal tensions involving Blake and Justin.

Now, Justin‘s lawyer is reacting.

“I’m unaware of anybody, frankly, whose wife has been sexually harassed and has made jokes about that type of situation. I can’t think of anyone who’s done anything like that. So it surprised me,” his lawyer Bryan Freedman said during an appearance on “Hot Mics with Billy Bush.”

He also was asked how Justin is currently doing. Justin and his family are in Hawaii to “get some semblance of peace” right now.

“I think he’s hopeful, he’s grateful he’s with his family. And grateful that he could let other fire victims use his house. Like anyone else who would be going through a situation where you’re accused of something you did not do…I think it’s distressful, to say the least,” Freedman said.
