Mutilator 2, a meta sequel to the 1984 cult classic slasher The Mutilator, has been picked up for worldwide distribution by Cardinal XD.
“The fully signed copy of our distribution agreement just arrived” Buddy Cooper, writer-director of both Mutilator films, shared on Instagram. “I will begin deliveries tomorrow and they will begin advertising soon. I don’t know the plan, but they want to get it out there so it should be appearing soon.”
The Mutilator actors Ruth Martinez and Bill Hitchcock return to star as themselves alongside Terry Kiser (Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood) and Damian Maffei (The Strangers: Prey At Night).
Eva Hamilton, Marco Reese Maldonado, Mark Francis, Loren Swan, Dan Grogan, Chaney Morrow, Jesse Contente, Eric Six, Cody Renee Cameron, Ruthie Martinez, Wyatt Easterling, Carl J. Grasso, Ryan James, Carroll Herring, Gabrilla Mead, Anna Clary, Emily Sue Bengtson, Peter Bussian, and Bryden Elliott Digennaro round out the cast.
Mutilator 2 entered production back in 2022 and premiered at Joe Bob’s Drive-In Jamboree in 2023.
