Female artists dominated the top contenders for the 67th Grammy Awards, and several of them have just been announced as performers for the Feb. 2 ceremony emanating from Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena. Among them are Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, Charli xcx, Sabrina Carpenter, Doechii, Raye and Shakira, who will take the stage alongside Benson Boone and Teddy Swims.
Collectively, these artists are up for nearly 40 individual awards. Beyoncé leads the overall field with 11 nominations, while Charli xcx has eight, Eilish has seven and Carpenter and Roan have six each.
Trevor Noah will host this year’s ceremony, which airs live on CBS and Paramount+.
In going ahead with the show despite the Los Angeles-area wildfires, Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. said it will “carry a renewed sense of purpose: raising additional funds to support wildfire relief efforts and honoring the bravery and dedication of first responders who risk their lives to protect ours.”
