Manage and Monitor Your Underwater Facility From Monsters of the Deep in ‘These Darker Tides’

Pixel Drip Games are taking the Five Nights at Freddy’s CCTV horror concept and combining it with terrors from the deep in their upcoming game These Darker Tides. Slated for release next year on Steam, These Darker Tides currently has a demo available for you to dive into (sorry) to get a feel for what the game has in store.

You are a new employee at Deep Sea Cables, an underwater facility where your job is to monitor the nearby cables for the sea life that has a habit of gnawing on said cables. If you happen to spot something messing around with the cables, you’ll need to use your trusty flares to scare them away.

Sounds simple, right? Well, you’ve got five different feeds to monitor, not to mention having to repair the cables if they become damaged, as well as restocking flares, repairing the cameras themselves and other tasks. Plus, there’s that whole “time management” thing, choosing when to go and make repairs/complete tasks.

Things get even more interesting when you have unexpected (and unwanted) visitors dropping by…

Big thanks to AlphaBetaGamer for the heads up. If you’re more keen on watching, you can hit up their video showing These Darker Tides gameplay.
