Greta Lee Replaces Sandra Huller In ‘Late Fame’ Ahead Of January Shoot

Greta Lee (Past Lives, The Morning Show) has joined the cast of Kent Jones Late Fame, starring Willem Dafoe as a forgotten poet whose work is rediscovered by a group of young artists years after he fell into obscurity.

Lee is replacing Sandra Hüller, who had to withdraw the project due to a scheduling conflict.

She will play Gloria, a mercurial theater actress whose magnetic personality and unpredictable allure upend the life of poet protagonist Ed Saxberger, played by Dafoe.

Produced by Pamela Koffler and Christine Vachon of Killer Films, Late Film is directed by Jones (Diane) from a script written by Samy Burch (May December).

The project launched at Cannes this year and is represented by mk2 films for worldwide sales outside of North America, with Cinetic Media, UTA Independent Film Group and WME Independent co-representing North American rights.
