The Fashion Picks Team GLAMOUR Is Shopping for the new season

As we move into colder days, the team at GLAMOUR UK is obsessed with shopping the hottest pieces for the new season.

September offers the perfect opportunity for a wardrobe refresh, and we’ve curated an edit featuring everything from transitional staples to one-off vintage treasures that our fashion team is currently adding to their wishlists.

Expect standout drops from some of our favourite designers, FW24 trend-driven investment items (oxblood Saint Laurent pumps, anyone?), and, of course, all things suede.

Ahead, shop the timeless classics and new-season favourites that the GLAMOUR fashion team are excited to shop this season.

This season I’m particularly drawn to luxury outerwear and printed, cosy knits that are both practical and chic. I’m always focusing on timeless additions when shopping that will continue to serve in my wardrobe season after season.

So, if I only could add one thing to basket it would be a Dries Van Noten jacket. I’m naturally drawn to colour and love a bold accessory to brighten up an outfit on a dull London day — of which there will soon be plenty.

If you are not already shopping vintage for bags, you’re missing out on a treasure trove of unique pieces. Even if it is about to get a lot colder, every look can still have an element of playfulness and fun – and accessories are a great way of doing this.

The Neous bag

A brown tote is *the* expensive-looking bag every busy woman needs for autumn and I love the quiet luxury, minimalist silhouette of this Neous Berenices bag.

The oxblood accessory

SAINT LAURENT Lee patent-leather slingback pumps

I’ve been eyeing these Saint Laurent oxblood heels for quite some time. I love how the deep burgundy makes it versatile enough to wear with black and brown tones and the gold heel adds a modern touch to the elegant shoe.

The trench update

Loewe Distressed Fringe Detail Trench coat

Because there’s no such thing as owning too many trench coats in the UK (at least that’s the excuse I give myself), if I were to get another duster, it would be this fabulous Loewe fringed number.

The stripe wardrobe staple

SIEDRÉS Lenn striped brushed woven jacket

Stripes are definitely back (remember the rugby shirt craze last month?) and I’m eager to take it into autumn with this gorgeous Siedres jacket.
