The “Diet Pepsi” singer arrived to the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards wearing panties, an ultra-padded bra, and some ruffled chiffon layered on her backside. The 21-year-old TikToker turned pop star has been all about blurring the sartorial lines. From her coned bra in her latest single to the whipped cream bathing suit she wore on Instagram, Rae loves a crazy fashion moment.
While the red carpet look has been met with mixed reviews, the Madonna interpretation is undeniable. Madonna notably wore an all white look during her “Like A Virgin” era that can be viewed as key inspiration for Rae’s look today on the carpet.

Rae finished off her look with white peep toe heels and a deep side part. She kept it quite simple with the makeup, giving us an almost bare-faced moment. Rae shared on the carpet that her look was in fact inspired by Madonna, adding in her own personal Addison Rae pizazz.
