Where was The Teacher season 2 filmed?

Much of The Teacher season 2 was filmed in Lough Dan in County Wicklow, Ireland.

Speaking on the filming locations for the series to Radio Times, Will Mellor said: “We had some fantastic locations. Shooting at Lough Dan in Co Wicklow there was beautiful scenery to work in. It’s where they shot Vikings… It was a stunning location.”

He explains that the “wooded area” where the series was filmed was privately owned, with the crew filming all the camping scenes there for four or five days.

Naturally, Ireland isn’t particularly known for its good weather, with Mellor adding: “We had a bit of a challenging time with the weather. The weather could come in at any point and we had a lot of stuff to do.”
